About Norasa

Norasa began with a simple frustration: most tableware is either disposable or precious, and neither is much use on a Tuesday morning. We wanted pieces that are good enough to notice and sturdy enough to use every day — a cup that holds the heat, a plate that feels right in the hand, a bowl that earns its place in the cupboard.

We are the studio, not a reseller

Every piece is made by Norasa Studio. Each one features natural variations in tone, texture and finish, giving every item its own character.

How we choose

We make what we would use ourselves, and we make it in small quantities. Everything listed on this site is already in stock in the UK and ready to dispatch — nothing here is a pre-order or a promise.

Honest descriptions

Every piece is finished by hand, so tone, texture and dimensions vary a little from one to the next. We treat that as a feature and say so. We publish only the measurements, materials and care instructions we can confirm. Where a figure is unknown, we leave it out rather than fill the gap with a guess.
